Kathmandu Linguistic Circle (KLC)
Kathmandu Linguistic Circle (KLC) was established in 1997 with the aim of developing and exploring linguistic activities among the students and young linguists at Central Department of Linguistics, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.
Every year, it publishes a newsletter entitled the KLC Newsletter. It provides information on the linguistic activities carried out in Central Department of Linguistics, T.U. Nepal. The chief advisor of the KLC Newsletter is Prof. Dr. Dan Raj Regmi, Head CDL, TU and advisors are Dr. Balaram Prasain and Mr. Bhim Lal Gautam.
Every year, it updates the information on M.A. theses, Ph.D. dissertations and reports of the sociolinguistic survey of the languages conducted by Linguistic Survey of Nepal (LinSuN) including the national and international conferences/ workshops / programs attended by faculty members and researchers at the department.
